Day 4 (Washington, DC)

Chinatown in Washington, D.C., was packed with Shops, Restaurants and People.  Everything is in Chinese and English, feels like another country.

Going to to U Street for some lunch. Erika and Dominique taking the escalator to the train.

We heard a lot about Ben's Chili Bowl so we decided to stop by and try their world famous Chili Dogs and Chili,Cheese Fries.  This place was packed with customers, repeat and first timers, and I can see why.  The Food is very good, hat's off to Ben's Chili Bowl"

In front of Ben's Chili Bowl, getting ready to stand in line and wait for the good stuff.

Here's the booth, in Ben's Chili Bowl, where President Barack Obama sat when he visited in 2009.

Love those Chili Dogs, they were Greeeeeeat!!

Beautiful Union Station - Did you know that they run the Amtrak train out of this trendy location with shops, food and entertainment.

South Lawn at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue (Hello First Family) sure would have been nice to get a glance at somebody other than Secret Service and the DCPD

Guess who finally decided to join in on the Family Fun.  Lloyd's conference ended today so we went to Dulles Airport and picked him up just in time for dinner.

Since Erika and I drove from Atlanta to Washington we decided to relinquish the driving to Mr. Morris.  Heading back to the hotel to park the truck, we will be taking the train to dinner.

Lloyd said he wasn't going to ride the train to dinner, he would be driving.  Well I guess you can see who won that battle. (Mentioning battles... While waiting on the train to head to dinner, we looked out the window and saw a beat down, a black guy tried to steal this white guy's wallet... Well obviously the thief wasn't fast enough and couldn't fight, cause the white dude chased him down, beat him down, and then took his wallet back... Gotta love DC and these wanna be thugs)......... Maybe dad was right about not taking the train to dinner tonight... (LOL)
We took the train to Georgetown to eat dinner but didn't find a place we liked so we jumped into a Taxi and headed to China Town.  Wow, this is Erika and Dominique's first taxi ride.  Nique enjoyed waving down a cab and saying, "Taxi".

When in Chinatown, you do as the Chinese do and eat Chinese food.  We went to Tony Chen's and all I can say is "Bon Appetit!" It was the best Chinese food I have ever eaten.  We enjoyed it thoroughly so if you find yourself in Chinatown and hungry, stop by Tony Chen's, you won't be disappointed.

Dinner is served (Orange Chicken, Sesame Chicken, and Shrimp Fried Rice with veggies).  Started with chop sticks and ended with a fork.

I can't believe I ate the whole thing.  Yummy, yummy, yummy to the tummy.  There was no food left on any plates and we left here very happy. This was a great choice for the night.
