Day 6 (Hershey, PA)

Here it is, the welcome sign for Hershey.  As you can see, they call it, "The Sweetest Place on Earth".

Today was spent at Hershey Park & Water Park

Just like Six Flags, no matter what time you show up, the park is full of visitors!  I knew would should have been here when the park opened at 10:00 am.
Lloyd, Erika and Dominique ready to have some fun!

We stood in line for an hour waiting to ride the SkyRush, the newest roller coaster at the park, and I can't believe I'm actually saying this but it was worth the wait, what a thrill! This park has 12 large roller coasters and they all were packed.  We also rode the Fahrenheit roller coaster, that was all we could handle.

After riding the SkyRush we were hungry so headed to get some food? Park food is the same everywhere, the goal here is not to be hungry.  Mission Accomplished

Had enough of Roller Coasters so we moved to the Water Park

Here I am going down the Lazy River

Erika's on the Lazy River too!

And you know Dominique wasn't going to miss out on the fun in the water.
Erika & Nique headed to more adventurous water rides

On our way to the Whirlwind, it sure does look like fun
Did I say it looks like fun?  It was great, now we are going to go on the Surge
Erika & Nique having some challenges getting out of the tube, splash, down they go.
The temperature was about 80 degrees, too cold for Lloyd to get wet, so he was the photographer today.  He's been in the Virgin Islands way too long when he considers 80 degrees as too cold to swim.
Nothing like wrapping up in Hershey's Chocolate

This Water Park has two buckets that fill with water then disperse it to the visitors below, we all like being splashed with buckets of water.
Can't leave an amusement park without indulging in a Funnel Cake, we stayed with the classic, no need to add Chocolate, enough already.
Erika saw a menu that read, "Fried Hershey's Candy" and just couldn't resist so she ordered fried kitkat and fried Hershey bar with almonds.  Something about this just don't sound right and needless to say, it was awful.  Hershey, just stick to making candy.

Nothing taste better than a soft serve ice cream cone.  Nique & Erika didn't won't one, however, they both ate over half of mine.  Get your own next time!

Every good thing must come to an end.  Time to say good by to Chocolate World (Hershey).  Got to pack up to move on to New York in the morning.

Hershey Park 2012, A Time To Remember.  Dreams of Sugar, Spice and everything Nice!
